Learn to use ER Mapper to process raster imagery typically used for mapping, such as satellite images, orthophotos, topo maps, DEMs, and more. Includes data import, image enhancement techniques, mosaicking, reprojection, use of vector data, map composition and printing, tiling large images, exporting to ECW and JPEG2000 compressed formats, and more.

Audience

This course is best for users at the intermediate level with basic computer skills. Students will be introduced to ER Mapper's graphical interface as well as more advanced concepts. Exercises will review basic functions and explore more advanced concepts.
