ArcPad 7 for Mobile GIS

Overview

The 2-day course will center on being productive with ArcPad in the field and understanding how to collect and process high quality GPS data with ArcPad, the Trimble GPScorrect extension for ArcPad, GPS Analyst for ArcGIS and/or GPS Pathfinder Office software. ArcPad’s integration with ArcGIS will be highlighted. Although Trimble GPS equipment and software will be highlighted, any GPS platform running ArcPad is welcome. You will gain confidence and the skill set to efficiently manage the mobile GIS work flow.

Audience

This seminar is intended for those who want to learn more about ArcPad and mobile GIS. Field workers will benefit from hands-on experience with GPS collection and update. Data managers will benefit from the robust treatment of data creation, preparation, and processing of GPS data.
